Terms of Service

You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your password confidential, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend an account to protect you, Kitchen Madam, or other customers.

You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or use the service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

We aim to present product descriptions, specifications, colours, images, prices, and availability accurately. Screen settings, packaging updates, or manufacturer changes may cause minor differences. Product images are illustrative unless stated otherwise.

All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, withdraw products, correct errors, or cancel an affected order. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the relevant amount.

Prices are displayed in Ghanaian Cedi (GH₵) unless clearly stated otherwise. Delivery charges and other applicable amounts are shown before you confirm an order. Prices and promotions may change without notice, but changes will not normally affect an order already accepted.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. An order is not accepted until payment and order details have been verified and we issue confirmation. We may use third-party payment providers subject to their own terms.

Submitting checkout is an offer to purchase. We may contact you to confirm identity, payment, address, or stock. Our order confirmation creates the sales contract, subject to any cancellation rights under applicable law.

You are responsible for a complete and accessible delivery address and for ensuring someone can receive the parcel. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. Risk passes on delivery to you or your authorised recipient.

Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Shipping & Returns Policy. Product defects and warranty claims are governed by our Warranty Policy and any applicable manufacturer terms.

These policies supplement rights available under applicable Ghanaian consumer law and do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The website and its text, graphics, branding, layout, photographs, software, and other content belong to Kitchen Madam or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the site for personal shopping. You may not copy, republish, scrape, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit site content without written permission.

If you submit a review, image, or other content, you confirm it is truthful, lawful, and does not infringe another person’s rights. You give Kitchen Madam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and display that content in connection with our business.

We may moderate or remove content that is abusive, misleading, unlawful, irrelevant, or contains private information or advertising.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. To the extent permitted by law, Kitchen Madam is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, business losses arising from consumer use, or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

You must use appliances according to the supplied instructions and safety warnings. We are not responsible for harm caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, unsuitable electrical supply, or failure to follow safety guidance.

We may update these terms when our services, policies, or legal obligations change. Updated terms apply from the date posted and will not retroactively alter an accepted order unless required by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute in good faith; applicable Ghanaian courts or authorised dispute-resolution bodies will have jurisdiction where a resolution cannot be reached.
