Warranty

We stand behind every appliance we sell. This page explains warranty coverage, exclusions, and how to request support.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

01

Warranty period

Unless a product page or manufacturer document states otherwise, new appliances purchased directly from Kitchen Madam include a two-year limited warranty from the original delivery date. Any longer manufacturer warranty will apply according to that manufacturer’s terms.

Your order confirmation, receipt, or invoice serves as proof of purchase. Warranty coverage belongs to the original purchaser and may not be transferable unless required by law.

02

What is covered

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal household use. Depending on the product and fault, Kitchen Madam or the authorised service provider may:

  • Diagnose and repair the appliance;
  • Replace a defective component;
  • Replace the appliance with the same or a reasonably equivalent model; or
  • Provide an appropriate refund where repair or replacement is not practical.

Replacement products or parts are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or any minimum period required by applicable law.

03

What is not covered

The limited warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic marks, or expected deterioration;
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, pests, liquids, fire, or improper storage;
  • Use contrary to the manual, including commercial use of a household appliance;
  • Incorrect voltage, unstable power supply, power surges, or unsuitable adapters;
  • Unauthorised modifications, repairs, or replacement parts;
  • Consumables and removable accessories unless defective on arrival; or
  • Damage during transport not arranged or approved by Kitchen Madam.
04

Safe use and care

Read the supplied manual before first use. Use the correct Ghana-compatible voltage and a properly grounded outlet where required. We recommend suitable surge protection for sensitive appliances.

Clean and maintain the appliance as instructed. Stop using it immediately if it produces smoke, sparks, unusual heat, exposed wiring, or another safety concern, and disconnect it from power when safe to do so.

05

Making a warranty claim

Contact us at mykitchenmadam@gmail.com or 0558055158. Provide your order number, product name, serial number if available, a clear description of the problem, and photographs or video that demonstrate the fault.

We may provide troubleshooting steps before arranging inspection. Please do not send or deliver an appliance until you receive instructions and a claim reference.

06

Assessment and service

The appliance may need to be inspected by Kitchen Madam, the manufacturer, or an authorised technician. If the fault is covered, reasonable repair or replacement costs will be covered. If no covered defect is found, we will explain any assessment, transport, or repair charge before paid work proceeds.

Back up or remove any personal settings where applicable. Kitchen Madam is not responsible for data or custom settings lost during repair or replacement.

07

Your statutory rights

This warranty is provided in addition to rights and remedies available under applicable Ghanaian consumer law. Nothing on this page excludes or limits a right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
